Hi … Sorry for the lack of news on Del… He has specifically asked us to calm down and cut the news down for a while… he was hoping that a period of calm might be appreciated by the Kenyan court system. I suspect, personally, we might be back on the offensive soon.

Once again there is precious little positive news. Deree after a short illness, I have no doubt exacerbated by the stress of his situation was back in court this week, more about that later.

As a result of a re-organisation in the Kiberian Kenyan Courts a new Judge has been employed to take the case forward. He needs to review the previous Judges notes and Deree was summoned to attend court on Wednesday 10th November 2010.

At this summoning attended by Deree and his Legal representation he was informed that the hearing would not proceed until Tuesday January 12th 2011

The whole appearance lasted less than 2 minutes.

Remember: This is for acting like a decent human being in preventing a woman from being assaulted in mid 2009.
To say Deree is disappointed would be a huge understatement. But those of us who have the pleasure of knowing him, will know he will not be downbeat about this setback for long.
